✧ Summary
The Mythseeker is a contemporary fantasy epic told through illustrated novels and multimedia. It follows the journey of Shay, a kind-hearted trans boy raised in isolation, who discovers that myths are real—and that he may be at the center of one. Blending Celtic mythology, cosmic horror, queer identity, and coming-of-age themes, the series explores what it means to belong when the world says you don’t.
After a life-altering encounter in Ireland, Aiden—a strange, quiet man bound to celestial forces—rescues Shay and spirits him away to the Finley estate, home of the Lorekeepers: a reclusive found-family of scholars tasked with preserving both living myth and forgotten magic.
There, Shay meets others shaped by the extraordinary, like Parisa, a brave, sharp-witted fae girl. Sheet, a chaotic ghost in a bedsheet. Dr. Seung, a brilliant wizard-scientist with too many secrets. And Tara, a surviving member of the Tuath Dé who remembers the gods not as legends, but as they truly were.
As Shay digs deeper into his past—and the threads of magic that seem to knot around him—he begins to understand that belief is more than just faith or feeling. It’s a thread. And how we choose to see the world might guide how it’s woven.
